WARFACE by Design announces today that a new line of WARFACE will be available for 2012. During the Las Vegas Sports Licensing and Tailgate Show MLB representatives were introduced to a new concept for WARFACE. "We are always looking for ways to to expand the product line and this new addition has been a long time coming" says Tony Diniakos of WARFACE by Design. "With a modifcation to the current product, we will be able to provide a great new product and make a solid footprint in the world of baseball merchandise. We are in the mask business and hockey has become a staple for us, but baseball catchers wear a mask too. So we have developed a way to create the cage of a catchers mask and attach it to our current WARFACE product." The idea was compelling and MLB wasted no time in approving the concept. The new Catcher Mask WARFACE for MLB will be available late April or early May as tooling and other logistics are finalized in preparation for the rollout.
The Edmonton Sun interviewed fans at the World Juniors on New Year's Eve. Scott Holben, a Team Canada fan, displays his WARFACE. "Obviously a gold medal, ya know. Thats what we come for, thats the Christmas tradition. Families bring it out, we have to watch it, and it's the greatest time ever!" sais Scott Holben during his interview. WARFACE has quickly become a #1 seller among hockey fans. "Canada as a whole is a target market. Their hockey tradition, and pride of country resonates from the top of the stands all the way down to the players on the ice. On game day the entire arena is pure synergy, you can feel it in the air". said Tony Diniakos, CEO of WARFACE.
Warface has some great ideas coming down the pipeline to not only expand their market into Europe, but to also get WARFACE licensed in other leagues as well. Major League Baseball has recently reviewed a new type of WARFACE suited for their fans. Early reports indicate that an approval from MLB is right around the corner.

Following recent events such as the Las Vegas Tailgate Show and a ESPN Sports Center sighting of Shaquille O'Neil wearing a Boston Bruins WARFACE, the NHL gave the thumbs up for WARFACE to become part of the NHL family.
